LOSS WILL PUSH US TO TITLE

Manchester United captain Nemanja Vidic has said that the failure of the club and to lift the Premier league title last season will push them to major success in the forthcoming seasons.

The 31-year-old was a major options for Manchester United in the second half of last season after he was ruled out with a major injury. He has just returned to first team football and will be a major asset in helping Manchester United lift the record 20th Premier league title. Sir Alex Ferguson has said prior to the start of the new season that winning the league is the priority.

Despite having not done well in the Champions League last season, Alex Ferguson has said that he is not ready to see Manchester city lifting the title once more. The Manchester United captain Nemanja Vidic has also said the same thing after he has failed a title warning shot at Manchester City.

After having failed to lift any major title for the first time in four seasons, Vidic has said that this failure will be able to push Manchester United to even more success. Manchester United are expected to have a number of players, who are absent last season, like Fletcher and Anderson back from injury.

“We had some young players play a lot of games last season and they’ll have learned a lot. We all learned. In Europe we’ve had so much success in recent years – we’ve had three finals, a semi-final – and maybe we relaxed a bit last season. We were punished and we can’t allow that to happen again. We had a few injuries last season too. I hope everyone can stay fit this season, and we can make the fans proud to wear man utd tshirts again" said Nemanja Vidic ahead of the start of the new season, in which Manchester United will be playing away to Everton on the opening day.
