MAN CITY HANDED MAJOR BOOST

Manchester City have received a major boost on the fitness front ahead of their Premier League meeting with North London club Tottenham Hotspur tomorrow following the news that key player Ruben Dias is in contention for the game. Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola gave an update on the players in his squad ahead of the game and Ruben Dias featured prominently.


The Portuguese international has been ill for the past few days but the Manchester City boss revealed that the centre back trained this morning in time to be ready for the game with Jose Mourinho and his Tottenham Hotspur players at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday evening.

Ruben Dias has become a key player for Manchester City since his arrival from Portugal in September 2020. The Portuguese player is almost untouchable at the heart of the Manchester City defence. Tomorrow's opponents, Tottenham Hotspur are the next team on the list with 22 goals conceded from 22 games making it the average of one goal per game.
Manchester City were able to progress to the next stage of the FA Cup in midweek without the ill Ruben Dias in the team. Manchester City got the better of Swansea City in the FA Cup fifth round to book their place in the quarterfinals to keep their hopes alive in the quest to win four trophies this season.
