Manchester City recently won the Premier league title for the first time in their history, while it was also the first league title they have won after a gap of 44 years.
Many are expecting the club to spend big in the summer in the hopes of attaining Champions League glory next season. Gareth Barry joined the club a few seasons ago from Aston Villa, but was heavily criticised for choosing money over football.

Mancini: Tevez can Go
Submitted by isport on Fri, 04/30/2010 - 08:41Mancini was angered when Tevez publicly criticised his training methods and is fed up with constant rumours that City’s leading goalscorer might push for a move if they fail to reach the Champions League. It might prompt a spell on the sidelines for Carlos (admittedly in the Manchester City Hospitality lounge!)
Tevez was upset by Mancini’s apparent lack of patience and sympathy when he missed vital games to return to Argentina in February after the premature birth of his daughter.
