Premier League club Manchester City have confirmed that they have struck a deal with Brazilian club Fluminense for the transfer of sensational teenage star Kayky. Reports surfaced last week suggesting that the Etihad club were tracking the young talent and were closely monitoring his progress in a bid to snap him up and bring him to England, but other reports suggested that it was all rumors.

However, the reports are no longer rumors because the club themselves have given a brief announcement on their official Twitter account that they have struck a deal with Fluminense to sign the youngster, however, the deal includes a clause that will allow the 17-year-old to remain a Fluminense player till the end of the season.

Manchester City are the form team in world football at the moment following their recent winning run. The victory run is dated back to December 2020, when they were forced to a 1-1 draw at home to Premier League strugglers West Brom in what was a shock result at the time. Since then, Manchester City have won 21 games in a row in all competitions to set a new record in English football. They are still five games away from matching the European record set by Dutch Eredivisie giants Ajax Amsterdam in the 70s. Manchester City have received a major boost on the fitness front ahead of their Premier League meeting with North London club Tottenham Hotspur tomorrow following the news that key player Ruben Dias is in contention for the game. The interest of Arsenal in the Manchester City centre back was revealed by media outlet AFC Bell on Thursday. Spanish La Liga club Barcelona are determined to secure a return for Eric Garcia after he left the club three years ago to join the Manchester City Academy. Eric Garcia was in the Manchester City Academy for one year before he made his professional debut in the colours of the club two years ago.


Eric Garcia joined Barcelona at the age of seven and he spent nine years at the famed La Masia Academy before Manchester City signed him. Barcelona wanted to sign him in the summer but they were not able to raise the funds needed for the Spanish international who had one year remaining on his Manchester City contract.
